Actrice & chanteuse bilingue, Ilinca s'est formée à Broadway, à la Circle in The Square Theatre School. Elle a vécu et travaillé à new york durant 8 ans.
Ilinca débute sa carrière en 2007 dans Le Cantique des Cantiques, adaptation originale du texte biblique mis en scène par Catalina Buzoiana (récompensée par deux prix Uniter ainsi que 8 Awards). Elle poursuit en parallèle ses études de lettres à l’Université de Provence et se spécialise en littérature comparée. Passionnée par Shakespeare, elle valide son Master II de Littérature summa cum laude par un mémoire sur Macbeth.
En 2010, elle quitte la France et part se former à la prestigieuse Circle in the Square Theatre School à Broadway. Depuis, elle vit et travaille à New York et est déjà apparue dans plus d’une trentaine de productions théâtrales. En 2014 elle fait ses débuts au cinéma aux côtés de Gérard Depardieu dans le film d’Abel Ferrara "Welcome to New York" présenté pendant le festival de Cannes.
Récemment, elle a travaillé pour Netflix, pour la série télé, "The Blacklist" où elle apparaît aux côtés de l'acteur James Spader
En France, Ilinca a interprété le rôle de Lady Macbeth dans Macbeth, une production internationale, dirigée par le metteur en scène new yorkais Edward Berkeley. (infos: www.macbeth-theatre.com).
En 2017, elle met en scène "Tueur sans gages" d'Eugène Ionesco, dans le East Village, au Theatre for the New City, avez les acteurs de la troupe de l'Atelier Theatre - New York.

Ilinca Kiss is a French born actress and singer, she trained in New York City. You can see her on Netflix, where she appears opposite James Spader in The Blacklist. Ilinca has worked with Gérard Depardieu in Abel Ferrera's movie Welcome to New York, which was screened during the Cannes Film Festival. Last summer Ilinca performed the role of Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's Macbeth, an international production directed by Edward Berkeley. The show was also performed in the Château de Lourmarin, an authentic 15th century castle located in the south of France. (macbeth-theatre.com)
In 2017, Ilinca directed the play "The Killer" by Eugene Ionesco, which was performed at the Theatre for a New City in the East Village.
Born and raised in Marseille, Ilinca moved to New York City in 2010 to train on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. She graduated in June 2012 from the 2-year conservatory program. Ilinca has also a Masters Degree in Comparative Literature from the Université de Provence where she graduated with the highest distinction. (Her final thesis was on Macbeth).
Ilinca began her career as the lead in the 2007 musical “The Song of Songs”, an original adaptation of the biblical text, directed by the Award winning Romanian director Catalina Buzoianu. The show ran for 4 years, including international theater festivals in France, Romania, and notably, at the Butrint Festival in Albania where Ilinca performed on Butrint’s ancient 2500 year old stage - a UNESCO world Heritage site.
