Ilinca at the Cannes Film Festival where she attended the world premiere of Welcome to New York, directed by, Abel Ferrara, in which she has a role opposite French actor Gerard Depardieu.

'An American success story with a French twist.'

Just a few months after graduating from Circle in the Square Theatre School, Ilinca auditioned for a supporting role in the new Abel Ferrara's movie "Welcome To New York, based on the Dominique Strauss Kahn scandal. (Casting by Sig De Miguel). In addition to being Ilinca's first role in a feature film directed by one of the most interesting and daring American fim director (Abel Ferrara), she discovered just a few days before shooting that her scene partner was Gerard Depardieu!

European Tour

linca began her career as the lead in Le Cantique des Cantiques. Directed and created by Award Winning Director Catalina Buzoianu, Le Cantique des Cantiques is an original Opera-Rock musical based on the  bilbical text "The Song of Songs". 

European Tour dates include: Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Lourmarin, Carry-le-Rouet, Castellet (FRANCE), Bucarest, Timisoara, Tg-Mures, Braila (ROMANIA), Butrinti International Festival of Theatre (ALBANIA).
